Dear Parents and Families,
Your student will be learning the 50 states and capitals of the U.S.A this school year! There are so many fun ways to learn them that include computer games, songs, board games, and puzzles to name just a few options. Our study will begin the week of October 2nd with an introduction at school. We will study the 50 states and capitals by regions. Your student will then have the region assigned as homework each day. The U.S.A. is defined by five regions for our learning. We will begin with: The Northeast Region: State Capital Maine Augusta Vermont Montpelier New Hampshire Concord Massachusetts Boston Connecticut Hartford Rhode Island Providence New York Albany New Jersey Trenton Pennsylvania Harrisburg Delaware Dover Maryland Annapolis Your student will be provided a map the week of Oct. 2, 2017 that contains the 11 states and 11 capitals of the Northeast Region. If you want to begin exploring around on my 50 State Games I think you will like the them. Also, I have maps on the Help Links and Documents page. I hope this becomes a fun way to share in your child's education! Comments are closed.
